How to write a good AI video prompt?
Use this order: Shot + Subject + Action + Setting + Lighting + Camera move + Style + Mood. Example: “Close-Up of a fox with glowing ember fur shaking off rain in a foggy redwood forest, volumetric fog rays, slow dolly-in, cinematic realism, quiet wonder.” Keep it to 40–90 words. Put lens, fps and aspect ratio in a separate specs line — models like Runway and Luma obey those better when isolated. Use the Negative box to suppress morphing faces, extra limbs and watermark text.
What do the platform tabs change?
Universal is a dense single paragraph that works everywhere. Sora-style expands into flowing sentences with physical detail (fabrics, light behavior, motion timing). Runway-style splits into labeled fields — Camera / Lighting / Style — which Gen-3 follows precisely. Pika-style compresses to one punchy line under 30 words with a motion cue, because Pika drifts on long prompts.
Is this calling an AI model?
No — and that’s on purpose. This builder is an offline template engine built from cinematography patterns, so it’s instant, free, private and remixable. It won’t hallucinate. For AI-generated ideas (not just structure), pair it with any chatbot, then paste the subject back here to format it into a production-ready cinematic scene prompt.
