Restore the Farm and Grow Crops

The farm gives you a place to prepare fields, plant seeds, water crops, and harvest the produce when it is ready.

Choose the appropriate field tool, prepare empty soil, plant seeds, keep crops watered, and return after they grow. Rain can also provide water for crops, while certain charms can improve farming efficiency.

Harvested produce can earn gold that can be used for supplies, animals, food, and equipment improvements.

Explore Willowcross, Moonwater Lake and Emberdeep Mine

Larkspur Hollow is divided into several connected areas that you can explore as the story progresses.

Willowcross is the village where you can meet characters, visit the general store, improve equipment at the smithy, and use the village board for deliveries.

Moonwater Lake provides a fishing area where you can use bait and a fishing rod from the dock. Timing your action correctly can result in a successful catch or even a rare fish.

Emberdeep Mine becomes accessible as the story develops. Inside the mine, you can use your blade against creatures, collect shining ore, and continue deeper once the area is safe.

Fish, Gather Resources and Care for Animals

Fishing is an important activity around Moonwater Lake. Buy bait from the general store, equip the fishing rod, cast from the dock, and time your second action when the marker reaches the green section.

Successful catches provide fish and gold, while rare fish can contribute to additional milestones.

Back at the farm, animals can be purchased for the barn pen. You can also interact with farm animals and gradually build a larger collection.

Mining provides another way to gather resources. Defeat creatures in Emberdeep Mine and collect ore as you explore its depths.

Use Charms to Improve Your Journey

Charms provide temporary advantages during different parts of the game.

The available charms include Windstep, Riverluck, Lantern Luck, Dewdrop, Stoneheart, Golden Basket, Green Thumb, Hearthsong, and Festival Ribbon.

Depending on the charm, you can receive benefits such as faster walking, a wider fishing window, more generous ore finds, reduced field-work energy costs, improved cave protection, better harvest and delivery rewards, additional crop growth, or increased energy.

Play Through Changing Days and Weather

The game tracks days, time, weather, coins, energy, and hearts as you play.

A day can include working on the farm, travelling between locations, talking with villagers, shopping, fishing, mining, gathering resources, and completing missions.

At the farmhouse, you can end the day and continue into the next morning. Watered crops can grow overnight, and rainy weather can automatically provide water for growing crops.
